Lamigraf increases production capacity in Europe with the purchase of a new printing machine

Lamigraf is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Jagenberg Converting Solutions for a new high performance 4-color printing line to be installed in Europe.

M17’s expected start-up is in autumn of 2022, with an output of over 4,500 tons of printed paper per year, width of 2250mm and maximum speed of 400m/min, providing a significant increase in capacity for Lamigraf’s European operations, reaching a total group capacity of approx. 30,000 tons.

After a successful retrofit of M9 in Lamigraf Germany which was concluded in summer 2021, Lamigraf and Jagenberg Converting Solutions have also entered into an agreement to retrofit 5 existing Cerruti Printing lines with the latest electronic and mechanical improvements. The aforementioned retrofits will be executed progressively and are expected to be all executed by the end of 2023.

With these investments, Lamigraf expects to achieve not only an increase in capacity, but also significant improvements in efficiency and performance.
